Tracking Dependents and Assets

Salamanca has tracking devices the size of a cigarette packet that can be linked to our crisis centre and monitored 24/7. They are fitted with a panic button that alerts the centre if there is a problem and opens an audio channel to the victim.

Case Study

The 18 year old son of a client recently went travelling around Africa for 2 months. As he would be travelling through some inhospitable countries and in consideration of his status it was thought that he may be targeted for kidnap. He was given a tracker to put in his rucksack and every couple of weeks the parents were able to call to see where he was and if required, receive a print out of the route he had taken. It certainly allayed their concerns and was by no means intrusive for their son.
