Kidnap & Ransom Contingency Planning

Salamanca provides prevention training and contingency plans for kidnap and hostage situations: advice on how to react if kidnapped; and how to manage a kidnap. Our kidnap for ransom training programs can also provide crucial kidnap situational awareness including environmental conditions and techniques. Advice can also be given in relation to procuring the appropriate level of kidnap & ransom insurance.

Case Study

Salamanca ran a 2 hour workshop with the client and their family office in order to discuss the likelihood of kidnap and the process of a kidnap, using case studies. Security awareness advice was provided to the client in order to help them mitigate such an incidents occurrence as well as advice around managing such a crisis and how to behave if kidnapped.

The training and advice are important in enabling clients to understand the kidnap process in a calm and open environment rather than trying to do so under a pressurized situation if a kidnap has occurred and when emotion tends to cloud good judgment.
