Security Planning

When operating in difficult or hostile environments, having a comprehensive but concise security plan in place enables our clients to both mitigate the risks to their projects and react effectively to incidents. Our modular approach to security planning makes the product flexible and adaptable to myriad environments.

Case Study

Salamanca Risk Management created the security plan for an oil and gas company entering Yemen. Cognisant that the high risk environment would present operational challenges, we produced a comprehensive security plan covering: site security, including physical security measures, technical requirements and man guarding; incident response procedures; journey management procedures; an evacuation plan; and a community relations strategy. The country security plan included a monitoring mechanism to objectively evaluate the security threat in country, enabling the client to change posture as required.
