Salamanca Risk Management can undertake complex and unique business investigations in order to aid a client in their business.

Case Study A

A law firm asked Salamanca to review a case that involved tracing 5 international witnesses, interviewing and notarising signed statements from them, in support of the case. Through a combination of our network of consultants and employees, we traced the witnesses using police contacts and investigative journalists. By keeping the police contacts and the journalists separate we were able to cross reference the findings of each to help build the picture, trace the witnesses and ultimately resolve the situation.

Case Study B

A client for whom we look after their risk management phoned when a container of stock had been stolen somewhere between Genoa port and its arrival in a bonded warehouse 100km away. We were able to send an ex Italian policeman who has a thorough working knowledge of the port, to investigate. After two days he suspected that the product was being stolen by the drivers of the trucking company. A covert surveillance operation was mounted in conjunction with the Italian police, resulting in the truck drivers being caught and taken to trial.
